Response to the Korean Reading / Yujong Cho

"Min wins, Fater-in-law wins; Yul loses, Soo-ja loses. She had thought tere was nothing more they could take from her, until she found herself with no bones, no skin to cover her. They had taken away everything"

 

I think this paragraph covers overall story. Soo-ja got back in Seoul but her husband Min already took daughter Hana to US with him. She got shocked and is planning to go to US where her daughter is.

 

This story could be linked to a period of time that a lot of Korean people went overseas including America. During that period, we can guess many a kind of personal affairs could have happened, because the time was a quite absurd period.
